NEET 2017 Exam Date – All the 12th class students are set to appear for their board exam in coming days, while the date of NEET entrance test for CBSE students has been confirmed. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday released the nonfiction about National Eligibly Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017 examination for admission to medical as well as dental colleges across India will be conducted in total 80 cities across the country on May 7th.
CBSE will conduct the entrance test as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and the Dentists Act, 1948. According to latest reports, the board has invited online application from interested aspirants for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India’s topmost medical/dental colleges. So, now the candidates can submit the online application from January 31st to March 1st, 2017. Candidates can download the application form from the official website i.e www.cbseneet.nic.in.
The officials of CBSE said that the admissions for all the seats of MBBS & BDS courses around the country will be made through NEET (UG) 2017 this year. Accordingly, admissions will be release on the basis of All India Quota Seats, State Government Quota Seats, State or Management or NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical/ Dental colleges or any Private/ Deemed University and also Central Pool Quota Seats, CBSE stated.
Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians(NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India(OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin(PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET 2017 and will also be eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats. The upper age limit of the applicant has been fixed at 25 years on the date of conduct of the entrance test. While reserved category candidates will get a five-year relaxation.
All the eligible candidates can apply only three times for NEET-UG 2017 and the candidates who have already completed their three occasions are strictly not allowed to take the examination. And most importantly, the previous attempts will be counted against these three permissible attempts.
The medical entrance test will be held at the total of 1500 examination centers all over the country and around 10 lakh students are likely to appear in the test. Last year, in both NEET- I and NEET-II about 8,02,594 aspirants registered.
